H. E. Fisher's lyrical and experimental poetry and essays appear or are forthcoming in Miracle Monocle, SWWIM, The Opiate, Moist Poetry Journal, Feral, Canary, Dream Pop Journal, Medical Herstory, Yes Poetry, and The Rumpus, among other publications. Her lyrical essay, “Ocean: An Autobiography” (Hopper Magazine) was nominated for the Best of the Net. She is the editor of (Re) An Ideas Journal. H.E. is pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at City College of New York, where she received the 2019 Stark Poetry Prize in Memory of Raymond Patterson; she also studies at the Hudson River Writers Center. H.E. lives in the Hudson River Valley.
